When we understand how the brain and nervous system respond to stress, student behavior starts to make more sense, and our responses as educators can become more effective, compassionate, and aligned with best practice. By the end of this session, you’ll have a deeper understanding of how the brain influences behavior, especially during moments of escalation. We’ll explore how escalation follows predictable patterns, and how co-regulation plays a critical role in helping students return to a state where learning is possible.
